Spring color palette

With a new season, comes a new set of trending colors. Spring itself is such a great inspiration for colors with all of the natural beauty that starts to bloom.

At Color Expressions Painting, we love to pull inspiration from each season. Here are some colors we are inspired by this Spring and think are the perfect choice for any painting or decorating project this Spring.

When we think of yellow and Springtime, we think of all the yellow flowers that come to life this time of year like tulips and daffodils.

As a color, yellow evokes happiness and positivity. Use yellow as an accent or a main color to brighten up any space in your home.

Green is a very prevalent color this time of year. In Spring, the grass starts getting its color back and green buds start showing up on trees and plants.

We love green because it can bring the outdoors and nature inside. Additionally, it represents growth and freshness. It is the perfect color to incorporate into a home office.

In Spring we see a lot of lighter blues and aqua. The sun is out and we can see the bright blue sky for longer than we have the past few months. Birds start laying eggs and every now and then you might see a nest with brilliant blue Robin’s eggs laying inside.

Light blue and aqua are perfect colors to use in a bathroom or bedroom to create a relaxing, calm atmosphere.

Purple is a popular pastel color in Spring. There are so many purple flowers that bloom in Spring, like lavender, wild hyacinth, and crocuses to name a few.

Purple is also a popular color for home décor, due in part to its vast array of shades. This Spring we are loving a lighter purple, like lavender. If you want something darker and bolder, you can’t go wrong with a nice shade of violet.

At Color Expressions Painting, we love finding inspiration in things around us. This time of year, there is so much inspiration waiting just outside.

Spruce up your space this Spring by painting or repainting a room with a bright, clean color. Call Color Expressions Painting today to start your Spring painting project!
